About Photography by Michael Harris

Based in Coral Gables (Miami), Florida and Whales Point, North Eleuthera I provide photography to commercial and private clients worldwide. When I’m not sailing I am frequently traveling throughout the USA, Bahamas and the Caribbean in search of images that reflect my passion for water and sky.

My background as a professional engineer has helped make my images technically accurate and creatively rich. As an accomplished engineer, captain, well traveled outdoorsman and successful “retired” businessman I try to bring a wealth of energy and passion to my photography.

All my images are shot in camera-raw and post-processed in Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 4.0. Every image has some processing and some a lot. I have included images that I think are creative, have some design element(s) and ones I like...
